Cancer is not a sentence.

The word cancer  clarifies your life in an instant.   If one cannot focus on the moment at hand, fears will take your mind.  I am stronger than my mind, I am not my mind.  I slip, but now I am catching myself as I begin to slip off into the minds imagined future.    None of us has any more than the moment at hand.  Focusing on the moment got me through the surgery  as peacefully as possible.  I am shocked  how easy it is to accept my new shape.  Focusing on my desires in the future will get me through the year of treatment to follow. 

                            Love to all, “Don’t Postpone  Joy” of writing a book about breast cancer care in different ethnic groups in the US.  I am so blessed to have her, my family and my friends. 

Some of you are just now learning the news.  I have not talked too much about it as the facts are not all in just yet.  But more and more are learning about it, so I am thinking of posting notes on a blog that you can check when ever you want to know how I am doing.
